GHANA CATHOLIC BISHOPS’ CONFERENCE HOLDS MAY PLENARY

The Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC) has held its May 2021 Plenary Meeting at the Conference Hall of the National Catholic Secretariat (NCS), Accra, from 4th to 6th May 2021.

The May Plenary – one of the statutory meetings of the Conference, had for its agenda, its budgetary session, reception of annual reports from the Conference’s major departments and collaborating agencies as well as interactive sessions with invited individuals and groups.

Among the groups that met with the Conference during the plenary were the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) and the Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) and the venue was the  St. James Catholic Church, Osu, Accra, Wednesday 5th May,2021.

Invited Guests that interacted with the Conference during the 3-day meeting included the First and Second Deputy Speakers of the 8th Parliament of Ghana, Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu and Hon. Andrew Asiamah Amoako among others. Issues of mutual concern for the common good of the nation were discussed.
