His Holiness Pope Francis has appointed Rev. Msgr. John OPOKU-AGYEMANG as Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong. His appointment is officially announced today, Thursday 21 March in the Vatican (Rome). Furthermore, Bishop Emeritus Most Rev. Joseph Osci-Bonsu has been appointed as the Apostolic Administrator of the said Diocese until the canonical installation of the Bishop-elect.
